Caraway West End | Behind the Scenes
Caraway West End is a luxe apartment complex designed by ESG Architecture and Design, located in St. Louis Park, MN. Hutch partnered with ESG on this project, alongside Greystar Development, to select and procure furniture that fit the tranquil, inviting and calm inspiration behind the design. This project boasts furniture from 50 different brand relationships Hutch has cultivated which gives the project the rich, hospitality feel the designers and client were striving for.
One of our favorite spaces in this project is the lobby and seating area, which makes a stunning first-impression. A floor-to-ceiling natural wood fireplace is the focal point of the space, complemented by warm, natural toned furniture with soft lines. Two custom curved sectional sofas in a soft cream fabric, and four lounge chairs in cognac leather, provide a comfortable and cozy seating area. The stunning bleached guanacaste console tables add a sculptural element and are a nice contrast to the soft lines in the furniture.
Perhaps our most coveted design detail, the plinth low coffee table in rose marble, is eye-catching and adds a textural, elevated touch.
The lobby space is completely surrounded by windows, giving it lots of natural light. For additional seating, Hutch sourced five marble and brass round bistro tables with dining chairs in butterscotch leather, as well as three black dining tables, complete with custom lighting and alternating dining chair styles.
To the right of the lobby is a spacious outdoor area. It's playful yet posh, complete with yard games and plenty of space for lounging. The main seating area features two modern sectionals in custom soft green fabric, two woven lounge chairs, and two pedestal outdoor patio coffee tables in mixed green marble. Alongside them is a set of burnt orange and jute ottomans. In the center of the space is a green turf surface with two custom yard games surrounded by eight textural rope laced outdoor lounge chairs.
To the left of the lobby is another beautiful outdoor space with a large swimming pool, covered hot tub and two main lounge areas. White aluminum sun loungers and hourglass-shaped concrete side tables line the edge of the pool on all four sides. Two fire pits with four stately Adirondack chairs sit to the right of the pool. Next to the hot tub are two mirrored custom U-sectionals with round terrazzo outdoor coffee tables.
The final space in this project is the sixth floor club room. The main seating area features a plush forest green sectional, a channel tufted swivel seating chair in auburn, and a marble coffee table at the center.
Behind the main seating area is a marble kitchenette with matching forest green cabinetry, industrial metal and natural wood shelving, and a custom dining table featuring eight custom counter stools with brass metal frames.
The club room extends into a gorgeous outdoor amenity space complete with a grill, kitchenette, two light wood dining tables with six outdoor rope dining chairs, and two woven outdoor benches. On the right side of the space are two custom sectionals in slate gray and two fire pits. Behind the main dining table are two additional light wood dining tables with wicker dining chairs.
